It is now suggcsted that sotne ono is preparing i reply to iï. This is a queer idea. The government refasing t publish report of military operations until they can get ready a reply! It can't be true ! The secret doulnlesa ia that tho report contains an overwbelming defence of Gen. McClellan, in its lacte, against all the alanderous attacks made upoD him.
