We undorstaud that the llegents of t'fie University do nol, iind the funds oí the usfítutíon in such a statu as to warrant the appropriatKufof the $25,000 necessnry for the ercction of the proposed building for the accommodation of the Medical Department, and that with a view of getling aid irom our citizens the following r,esolui,tons were adnpted on Wednesduy. Resolved, That the cormnittee on the Medieal Dapurtment be and are hereby aulUoi-iiied to let a contract to the best advantage,, to oreet the addilioa pj-oposed to the medical college, vssoon as (en thousand dollars iha!lbo proïided from sources other than tho treasury of the University.
