■The Dinikirk nal learns that "a disease ís prevailrig id the tho town of Evans, Erie county, and perhaps iu other sections of the county, whieli hns produoed considerable ulann íq consequence of its supposod rcsetublan"o to the email pox. It is said to be unquestiunably contagious, going thro' entire tamiles end neighborlioods, wliercever it makes its appeaiance. It raanifesfs itself in the ferm of eruptiotis on the skin, whicl], however, do uot seem to penoti-ate below the nuticlo, or upper skin, and t seldom proves fatal, though handhng its vietims with considerable severity at !n tlio treatmont of the disease stimulants are to be avoided. Those acquaint' d vilh tlio ianll pos can easily distinguish it fröm that disease.
