We have all the forts of the etiemy ; have captured 4,800 men and a ïarge uumber of officers, including General Whitiug and Cüloiiel Lamb. The guuboats ure now in the river, and Wiluiiiigton is te'aled against blockado runners, The rebels have destroyed the works ou Sumh's Ii-laud, and if they do not destroy Fort Cuswell, it is oí no use to them. I was in Fort Malakoff a few days after its surreutler to the Freneh and English. The combincd aruiies ol those two natious were mauy moutha capturing that stronghold, and it will not compare either iu size or strength to Fort Fisher.
