Tlie Oonnty Fair lias been in progresa since Wednesday, and vvill close this afternoon. The weather has been cool but pleasant, and jadging by tho crowds in our streets yesterday- the date of writing this item- the attendance was laige. Wc shall speak in detail in our next issue. L" We understand that J. RSage, of Kalamazoo, Professor of vocal anjl nstrumental music, and a gradúate of the Normal Academy of Music, of Geneseo, N. Y., has purchased a resklence m this city, and internis to follow bis jirofession, giving inatruction to classes both vocol and instrumental. Particular attention will be givon to voice training according to the celebrated eystem of Prof. Cáelo Bassixi, President of the aforesaid Academy. His room is in Siuitb's Block, opposite Hangsterfer's Hall.
