L3 Our friends in Saline, York, &c ., ure anxious to know what is being done towards organizing the Toledo, Ann Arbor, and Holly Eailroad CompRny, comiileting the preliminary snrvey, etc. Can any one teil them ; we can't. We fear, hovvever, that the project is buried by the side of the Ann Arbor and Jonesville road which died preniaturely soine years ago. fögT The Express train coming East collided with a freight train on Tuesday morning this side of Albion. The speed of the trains was somewhat chocked, but the force was suffieient to completely demolish both locomotives and wreek several cars. - The engineer and fireman on the passenger train were severely bruised, but rairaculously escaped. Several passengers were slightly injured. The accident delayed the trains of the doy several hours. J53" Our citizens we are sure will remember the Reunión aiid Donatïon for the beueflt of the Misses Cdark, to be held tomorrow eveniug, at their new school building, corner of División and North Streets. They have a large enterprise on their hands, and just now is the emergency, and of course the time to lend a helping hand. Ei After the matter for this issue was nearly all in type, the proceedings of the recent Sabbath School Ocnvention, at Ypsilanti, were handcd in for publication. We regret that they carne loo late. Our friends should remember that we go to press at too early au hour to receive lengthy communications so late as Thursday morning.
