Tho object of tho Government in appoiuting a Military Commission to sit in BostOD, is to meet a demand of the Prussian (Government for investigation into a charge tliat MasRaehuestta officials caused Prussian snbjects to be brought over and oolisted into the army, for the purpose of filling up the quota of that State. Tha latter expects to establish the fnct that frnud and compulsión were practised by Massachusetts upon i'russian local emigrant commissioners. Tho demand is not unlike that whiuh the United States made upon Great Britaio for encouraging illega! enlistments here, during the Crimean war, and which resulted in the dismissul of Minister Crampton and of the British Consiils t New York and Oincinnati. The Commission consista of Generáis Mat. Smith, E. A. Ilitchcoek atfd öeth. Williams, as telegraphed a few days ago. After meeting in Boston for the accammodatiou of the authorities of Msssaohnsettaj they will adjourn to Washington and open a session thero for the convenience of the Prussian Minister.
