The Secretary of tlie Treaaury has directcd the Assi6tant ïreasurer at New York to eell SI ,000,000 gold each Wodnesclay of July, the fitst and tliird sules on account of the epecial fund and the second and fourth on account of the inkiug fund. Also, to purctiase 1,000,OOO of bonds on the first and third Thursdays on accouut of the Mnkin;? fund, aud S"2,000,000 on the second and fourth Thursdayo on aocount of the poaiaLfund.
