1. If dover seed is sowed with the gram the land should always remain undisturbed for at least one year thereafter, for the purpose of allowing the clover time to mature. It may be sown with nearly all ceroals, such as ryc, barley, oats and wheat. 2. We would not advise the eowing of clovor sced in the fall, and we believo it ia very Beldom, if ever, put in at that time. Sow the seed among the winter wheat, but oarly in spring, just as soon as the ground tliaws. Clover sced will find its way deep euougli into the soil without being oovered with plow or hurrow ; and whenever it is sown with oats, barley, or other spiing grain, care should be taken not to cover too deeply. The seed may ie scattcred after the grain is sown, and a brush then paased ovor the surface, alihough a roller is preferable to anything elsc. 3. Ten or fifteen pounds of clovor seec s the usual quantity sown jicr acre, but a little too much is far better than not quite enough.
