"The Blue Bird " is an exquisite picure by a French artist ; " Brookside Willows " beautiful sketch by John Howe ; " Sleeping alace" and "Sleeping Beauty" companion nctures by Dore, showing magical skill and euiu8, besides others which may be classed as things of beauty." Mrs. Julia C. Dorr opens ie nuraber with a fine poem, " Rena, a Legend Brussels." The stories and lesser articles will be read. James Sutton & Co., 58 Maiden ane, N. Y. - Godey's Lady's Book has a fine steel píate, In Trouble ; " extensión, colored, and working ashion plates; the continuation of Marión arland's capital story, Carrying Weight ; with ories by Ino Churchill, S. Annie Frost and ;hers, household recipes, etc. Godey knows iow to make a good magazine for both the oudoir and work-room. L. A. Godey, Philaelphia. - Our Young Folks has three more chaptera Trowbridge story " Doing his Best," in hich Jack Hazard gets handsomely out of his rouble growing out of his going to the menagerie ; another installment of " A Morning with the Jimmyjohns," by Mrs. Abby Morton Diaz ; with a heap of other good things both for the boys and girls.
