The Board of Supervisors of Washtenaw county met in annual session, at the Court House in this city, on Monday last, at 11 o'olock A. M. The several towns and cities are represented as follows : Ann Arbor City, - Conrad Krapf. " " " - - Anton Eisele. " " " - - Geo. H. Ehodes. " Town, - Helden W. Shurtleff. Augusta, ... John D. Oloott. Bridgewater, - - - James Kress. Dexter, ... Henry B. Jones Freedom, - Elias Haire. Lima, - Nathan Pierce. Lodi, - ... James Sage. Liyndon, - George Eowe. Manchester-, - - - Horatio Burch. liorthfield, - - George Eenwick. Pittsfield, .-- David Wilsey. Salem, ... Isaac Wynkup. Scio, ... Patriok Tuomy. Sharon, - - Emerson Annabil. Superior, - Freeman P. Galpin. Saline, ... Myroa Webb. Sylvan, - Michael J. Noyes. Webster, - - Pomeroy "Van Eiper. York, - - - Jesse D. Warner. Ypsilanti City, - Hiram Batchelder. " - - Luther P. Forbes. " Town, - W. Irving Yeckley. The Board temporarily organized by electing Mr. Pierce, of Lima, as chairman pro tem and adjourned until afternoon. At the afternoon session a permanent organization was effeoted, a single ballot for chairman resulting : For W. Irving Yeokley, - 13 I " Isaao Wynkup, - 1 1 Supervisor Krapf did not vote, and it is understood that one Democratie member voted for Yeckley, and one Eepublican - representing a Democratie town - for Wynkup. Mr. Wynkup is classed as a sort of Democratic-Eepublican - say "Independent-Liberal - " having been elected on an independent ticket in a Bepubioan town. Mr. Yeckley is an old niein)er of the Board, and we hope will " put ;hings through." Nothing else worthy of note in Monday's proceedings. Tuesday, Oct. 14. Full Board present. The chair announced the standing ommittees : On Equal'uation. - Messrs, Wynkup, thodoa, Forbes, Pierce, Burch, Webb, and VanEiper. On Criminal Claims. - Messrs. Noyes, Webb, and Van Eiper. On Civil Claims,- Messrs. Shurtlefi', 'uomy, and Eowe. To Settle xcith County Officers. - Messrs. Olcott, Warner, and Wilsey. To Examine Accounts of Superintendents f Poor. - Messrs. Wilsey, Haire, and Krapf. On Salaries of County Offlcers. - Messrsatchelder, Kresss, and Qalpin. On Apportionment of State and County ''axea. - Messrs. Eenwick, Sage, and Jones. On Public Buildings. - Messrs. Krapf, ones, and Warner. On per diem Allowances. - Messrs. Tuouiy, Cress, and Olcott. On Vnfinished Business. - Messrs. Eowe, Annabil, and Renwick. On motion the following special committee on small-pox claims was appointd : Messrs. Olcott, Annabil and Haire. The rest of both forenoon and afternoon essions wás consumed in unsuccessful tteinpts to provide for and appoint a Re)orter, and in the discussion of u resoluion lookinar to an early report of the nittee on Equalization, an estímate of ie sum or sums necessary to be raised for ounty purposes, and an adjournment to ie last of December or first of January.
