Wednesday Oct. 29, 1873. AFTERNOON SESSION. Board met pursuant to adjournraent, Called to order by the Chairman. Roll called - present a quorum. Mr. Rowe, from Committee on Civil Claims, reported the following and recommended their allowance at sums stated : CLAIMKD. ALL'D. 247 Wicka & Mclutvre, suppiies ior Court ïlouse, $ 7 10 $ 7 10 248 O. Brown, deputy Sheriff, 144 43 139 08 Mr. Forbes moved that the report be aocepted and adopted and claini8 allowed at sums stated. Agreed to. Mr. Van Riper, from Oommittee on Criminal Claims, reported the following and recommended itfl allowance at sum stated : 257 K V. H. Potter, dep'y sheriff, $45 67 $46 67 On motion of Mr. Shurtleff, the report was acoepted and adopted and the claim allowed as recommended. Mr. Shurtleff moved that Mr. Jones be appoiated a Committee of one to equalize fractional school district and report the per cent. Agreed to. Ou motion of Mr. Shurtleff, tb e vote excusing Mr. Wynkup from serving on the Committee on Small-pox Claims, wa rescinded. Mr. Shurtleff moved that Mr. Wynkup be addcd to the Committee on Small-pox Claims. Which motion prevailed. The Clerk presented a communication from the Supervisors of Barry County. Mr. Wynkup moved that the comuiu nication be received and referred to committee of three to be appointed by th Chairman, to report to this Board wha action if any, is necessary in regard to il Carried. The hour for the special order for can vassing the votes on the Court Hous loan having arrived, on motion of Mr Wynkup, the report of votes furnished by the several townships and Superviso distriots were read by the Clerk. And on further motion of Mr. Wynkup, th County Clerk was instructed to declar said voto to morrow morning at 1 o'clock. Mr. Noyes moved that the Board pro ceed to the appointment of a, Count; Superintendent of Poor. Carried. Mr. Wynkup moved that the Chai appoint two tellers. Agreed to. Messrs. Shurtleff and Tuomy were s appointed. The vote as reported by the teller was as follows : For George C. Arnis, 1 " Peter Cook, ... " B. W. Waite, - ... Whereupon, on motion of Mr. Van Riper, George C. Arms was declaret unanimously appointed County Super intendent of the Poor for the ensuing three years. On motion of Mr. Renwick, the Boarc adjourned until half-past 9 o'clock to morrow morning. Thursday, Oct. 30, 1873. Board met pursuant to adjournmem Called to order by the Chairman. Mr. Warner, Justiee of the Peace, who waa cited to appear before the Board at '1 o'clock this afternoon with his docket, made his appearance and was direoted by tho Board to go before the Comniittee on Criminal Claims. Mr. Shurtleff moved that the Committee on Criminal Claims be excused from attendance on this Board this afternoon. Carried. The Chairman announced as the special committee to whom was referred the communication from the Barry County Board of Supervisors, Messrs. Wynkup, Sage, and Krapf. Mr. Tuomy was called to the chair. On motion of Mr. Wynkup, the Board adjourned until 10 o'clock to-morrow morning. Friday, Oot. 31, 1873. Board met pursuant to adjournment. Called to order by the Chairman. Mr. Pierce moved that the report of the Committee on County Drains be taken from the table. Carried. On motion of Mr. Haire the report wtss referred back to the Committee on County Draina. On motion of Mr. Webb, the Board adjourned until 1 1-2 o'clock, r. m. AFTEENOON SESSION. Board met purauant to adjournment. Eoll called - present a quorum. Mr. Olcott, from Committee to settle with County officers, made the following report : To the Honorable Board of Supervisors of Wash% tenaw County. Mr. Shurtleff moved that the vote by which the last report of the Committee on Criminal Claims was adopted be reconsidered. Carried. On motion of Mr. Shurtleff, the report was accepted and adopted, except the bill of Justice Beahan. On motion, the bill of Justice Beahan was referred back to the Committee on Criminal Claims. Mr. Wynkup moved to adjourn until to-morrow morning at 10 o'clock. Mr. Eenwick moved, as an amendment, that this Board adjourn until Monday morning next at half past 10 o'clock. Carried.
