The Leighton brothers of tho car works in New Hayen, Conn., have devised a new and improved style of sleeping-cars which will probably como into general use. Tho weight of the new cars is onethird less than that of the Pullman cars, and they can be run at an expense much less. The general appearance of the interior of the car is similar to that of the cara in cominon uso. Tho interior has all the conveniences of saloon and dressing - room for ladies and liko accommodations vieing in elegance for gentlemen. There are 12 sections of two berths each, one arranged above the other, also one section for extra bedding. On entering tho coach as arranged for day nse, you find aothing above the bottom of the window to obstruct tho view, and all ia light and airy as in the most improved day coach. It is made ready for night use by ineans of a simple and ingenioua arrangement of the seat-back, which forms the top berth, and when this is adjusted, by another neat and simple process the lower berth is ready for nse. The bedding and all that is not required for day uso is put away under seats.
