Ilesolutions were passed to counteract the inipression that that the Ileformed Episcopal Uhurch is ohiefly for those who have been heretofore EpiscopaKans, and making known that all Evangelical Christians, irre'spective of prior associations, are equally eligible to offices in the society, and arecordiully invited to cast in their lot. Bishop Cuiumins wanted the new church ealled " Church of the Savior," but the name finally adopted unanimously was " First Eeformed Episcopal Church of New York."
