The animal meeting of the Ladies' Library Association of this city was held on Monday afternoon laat, April 13th. Tlie following officers were elected : President - Mrs. Huilt. Vice President - Mrs. Teu Broolc. Secretary - Miss Ormsby. Treasurei - Miss Porter. Although not a member of the Association, Mrs. Lund expressed her interest and confidence in it by making it one channel of the good works which shall follow her and continue to benefit the community from which she has departed. "Though deád, she yet speaketh." Words wise and helpful may come to somo vrhom they would not otherwise reach, through the books she thus aids in sending abroad.
