Democratic State Convention

A Democratie State Convention will bo held at Union Hall, Kalamazoo, Michigan, Thursday, September lOth, 1874, at 12 o'clock m., for the purpose of nominating candidatos for Stato officors and for the transaction of such otlier business as niay come before it. Each County will elect four deletales for cach Representativo to which, under the last ajportioument, it is enlitled in the iowor brauch of the Stnte Legislature ; bat eveiy organized county will be entitle to at least tiro delégate. In accordanco with a rosolution of a former State Convention, all counties, except thosa of the LTpper Península, nmst bc represontcd by resident delegatos. It is hoped tliat County Committees, in calling their conventions, will extend a cordial invitation to all opposed to tho corruptions and misrule of the party in power to particípate in the primary meetings held to elect eiegates.
