Senator Cjiaxdler is announced to speak in this city ou the 3d of Ootobor, and as he was a great warrior during the late rebolliou, it 8 probable that lie will entirely ignore the issues of the day, recount his vnliant deeds, and claim a continuance of his party in power because of them. The " Lost Arts' and "Godin Ilistory" are fitting themes for Chaxdler. According to the terms of the bulletin, either Gov. Baoley or Cougrossman Waldkon may bo expected to bo present, to stay up Chandler's hands. George II. Dueand, of Flint, has been nominiited for Congress by tho Democracy of the Sixth Congressional District. He is a young man of fine ability, oxcelleat repute, and great popularity having last Spring bcon electüd Mayor of a largely Kepiibliciin uity, and by over 400 majority. Hu is a lawyer. Beqole will have to husbaud his wind.
