The shortness f feed and the probable high price of corn has oubtless discouraged holdera, and they are aplarently anxious to aell. We quote hoice beeves, shipping steers and heifers, weighing froin 1,200 to 1,500 Ibs. f 4 50 o 5 00 Good butchers' steers and heif era, areraging 1,000 to 1,100 Ibs., 3 75 a 4 25 Working cattle, well f attened, averaging 1,000 to 1,500 Ibs., 4 00 o 4 25 jOW8, common to choice, 3 25 a 4 00 tockers' and packers' medium steers, and heifers, in decent flesh, 800 to 1,000 Ibs., 2 50 a 3 75 SHEEP. There was a good demand for sheep, and rices were about the same as last week. One ;ood lot of 140, averaging 80 Ibs., sold at Í3 10 head, and 420, averaging 70 Ibs., aold at 12 85 head. Small lots, by the cwt., sold at $4a4 50. HOOS. There were very few offered, but for the qualty sellers did not realize as much as last week, et the same remarks noted in the Central reort, above, are applicable here for even Iota. . H. Patten sold a mixed lot of 41, ranging from 00 to 200 Ibs., at 5 75, and N. Nott, sold 21 ood hogs, averaging 192 Ibs., at $6 50.
