Ten Thousand Sheep On The Move

The Omaha (Neb.) Tribune of Uot. 2Oth, says : " Yesterday morning Mr. Perea's vast flock of sneep arrived on the bluff to the Bouthwest of the city, and this morning they were delivered to the partiea to whom they had been eold. The flock numbered over 10,000 head, and the flock are in a fine condition after a jauut of over 400 miles, acoomplished in about 45 days. On the trip to Denver only about 30 head were lost, including those iilled by the herders for meat. Four ihousand ewes, not a black one atuong ;hem, were kept by theinselves, and as they were huddled together by the order of Mr. Perea, the sight was one not to be brgotten. The moveinents of their bodes as the sun shono aoross them, reminded one most forcibly of the waves on a arge body of water. The sheep wore divided into flooks of 3,000 each, and wero ;ended by two men. At night the sheep will remain around the camp fire, and will not wander, as would be the natural supposition. At the first peep of day ;hey are started on, and move anead ony about as fast aa they grazo the ground."
