The Nebraska Belief and Aid Society have issued the following notioe, rendered neeessary by the fact that sonie execrable rogues have been trading upon the sufferings of the settlers at the West : " The Nebraska Belief and Aid Society adhere to the policy of j izing no person or persons, howeyer reputable, to receive ïnoney or material from Easteru people. lts agents will only act through branch aid societies, and whatever charity the oities and people of the old and -wealthy States may desire to bestow upon the uufortnnate humesteaders of western, newly-settled Nebraska, suffering from the ravages of grasshoppers, should be forwarded through local or branch aid societies, and by their offioers directly to Alvin Saunders, Treasurer, and E. B. Chandler, Secretary of the Nebraska Belief and Aid Society, at -Omaha. This notice is published as a caution against impostors.
