A letter f rom Des Moines, Iowa, saya: " There is great f atality among the liogs in this State. ín Marión, H. Cunninghnm, the great prize-taker at all fairs, lias lost neurly his whole herd of valuable thoroughbred Poland-Ohina hogs, valued atover $2,000. The loss is not only great to liim, but to the State at large, as breeders were depending extensively on him for animáis. A largo number of the hes were disseoted, aud invanably it was found Üiat the lixngs were nearly destroyed. Suow & Huber, at Pella, who have a grease factory, report the same is true of nearly all the dead hog brought there whioh have died of disease". .
