The November term ol the Circuit Court commeuced on Monday, Judge Crane preaiding. The calendar may be Bummarized as follows : Criminal, - 5 Issues of Fact, - - .4(3 Issues of Law, - . . 3 Impurlauce, - - - 11 Chancery, lst class, - - 9 u 2d class, - - 3 " 4th class, - - .7 Monday was occupied in a cali of the calendar, hearing motions, etc. Tuesday a jury was impanneled in the York breach of promise case of Maria M. Ouderkirk vs. Albert Coe, which resultcd in a disagreement and discharge of jury on Wednesday eveniug. The jury stands discharged until Monday, but to-day the court will proceed with motious or chancery business. We cheerfully comply with tlie request to insert the appended card, the more cheerfully as it may aid in answering a question some time ago 'propounded by the Courier, that is : " Ii any one of our ten thousand readers can teil us who S. P. Lurch is, and they will do us a groat favor. Murch, not Lurch, was the man intended to be hit : Caed. - The undersigned hereby acknowledges his obligations to his many fnends in Sharon, to wit ; On Friday evening, the l'2th mat., between flfty and sixty of my f rienda very nnexpectedly took possession of the parsonage, bringing their baskets and depositing them for a time, during which a very pleasant visit was enjoyed by the eutire party. And there are only a few places wliere the people know better how to make such a gathering enjoyable. When the evening was well spent, the author of this card was called out, whon, to his astonishment, he was mude the grateful recipiƫnt of a handsome silver hunting case wa.tch, valued at $50 ; tho. presentation being made by the Hou. D. G. Rose ; af ter which the feast trom the bakets was spread and eaten, and the company departed, leaving behind them the cousciousnesB that their humble pastor was appreciated, and possessed au honorable place in their regard. S. P. MURCH, Pastor Sharon M. E Church. Pioneee Society.- The Washtenaw County Pioneer Society will meet at Manchestor, on Wednesday, the first day of December next. It is expected that a fine collection of Indian relies will be exhibited at the meeting. Lectures on Indian relies are expected. The chauge from Monday to Wednesday was made to accommodate the ladies, and it is hoped that they will favor the society with their presenco, The Ypsilanti and Hillsdale road will give half fare tickets to those wishing to atteud.
