We hiivo appointed Wednesday, the 9th day of August next, at uoon, as the tiiuc, and Whitney's Open House, Detroit, as the place for holdiuga PwnoetittB State Convention for the purpose of uomiuatlng candidatos for Stilte officers and Eleotors for President and Viee-Piesideiit of tlio United otates, and for the transaction of such other busi[ii.-s as may come before it. toch county will be entitled to four delegates to each Repreaentative to whicli, undor the last apportlonment, it is entitled in the lower branch of state Legislature: but each organized county will bo entitled to at least two delegates.
