An Udderzook conspiracy has been brought to natight in Missouri. ín thu sanimer of 1874 a man named Folk insured his life for $10,000 in the New York Mutual Life Insurance Company for the benefit of his wife, the premium being paid by an intímate friend named Mosely. The next winter Tolk disappeared. His gun and coat were found on the ice on tho river, and Mrs. Tolk becamo convinced that ho lmd been drownod. His body was árlvertised for, and a man carne f orward who declared he had recognized Folk in a corone that was taken out of the river wlien the ice broke TO in the spring. Application was made for the paymênt of the money, but tho suspicion of the agents was aroused and they declined. Mosely was susDected oï havinK arraneod tho details of the frtrad, and he was "shadowed by the detectives. " Fiually, information of the whereaboute of Folk himself was obtained, and about a week ago he was fonnd in a oabiu in Prairie connty, Ark. He was bronght back to his inourniug wife, and the two, with tbeir friend Mosely, are now domeoticatcd in the St. Louis jail, awaiting trial.
