The tooth was allowed to remain in this pcsition for two months, when, by the advice of the physician, the case was referred to a dentist and feil into the hands of Dr. Dills. On making an examination Dr. Dills decided to attempt extraction through the rignt nostril, the operation beiug performed successfully last Friday, the doctor having taken ono day to provide a suitable instrument. The tooth is a very broad one, and is, without doubt, the tirst one ever thus extracted. The case throughout is remarkable, and will present many interesting points to the dontal profeseion.
