- Dr. J. M. Grügory is expected to preach at the Baptist Church on Sunday a. m. - The scholars of the Mission Sunday School were feted and feasted at Good ïemjlars' Hall last evening. - Rev. Dr. Cocker preached in the Congregatioual Church on Sunday last, ia the foreiüoii. Nu evening service. - Prof. J. H. Laird, ot Oberlin College, will jreach in the Congregational Church on Sunday next, iorenoon and eveuing. - The services at the M. E. Church Sunday evening will be appropriate to Christmas and especially for the Sabbath School. - The Sabbath School of the Congregationil Church is to have Christmas doings to-morrow evening, and it is whispered about that Santa Claus will put in his appearance in person. - The annual holiday or Christmas exercises of the Presbyterian Sunday School will be held on Sunday evemng,- taking the place ot the regular exercises. The Fifth Ward Sunday School serves up Christmas fixings to-morrow evening, the programme including a well-laden Christmas tree with appropriate exercises. - Rev. C. H. Brigham will preach at the Uuitanan Church next Sunday morning on the " Puntan Work Made Perfect." In the evening on the " Star iu the East,'' a sermón for Christmas Eve. Essay on the Parable of the " Tares and Wheat " to the studeuts' class at 9 30 A. at.
