Dr. Schliomann has made some more discave: its at Mycenso. In the tomh previonsly explored he has found a great quantity of woman's jowelry in gold, and haudsornely -worked. Iinmediately after conimeucJDg excavations at an adjoiuing tomb a large hcad of a cow in silver, witla immense horus of pure gold, was found. A largo girtllo of gold, üvo gold vases, and immense golden buttons were alao fonnd. All these objeota are said to be marvelously worked. Among other discoveries aro uiue silver vases and numeroiis swords of bronze, bnt no trace of ironwork. At a recent duel near Paris one of the combátante seized his opponent as aoon as he reached the rendezvous and beat bina severely with a club. This toohasty gentleman, who moves in fashionttble circles, has been challenged by his own seconde for such an uaprecedeuted display of bad temper.
