At Leu Saint Bemy, in Belgnim, nn appolliag sensatiou hns Iately occnrred. A young man of 18 years, wïro was believed to bo dead, was placed in a coffiu and buiied. A gre&t numbei of nummers accompanies the funeral. One of them pronounoed a eulogium upon the diameter of the deceaseil, the usual prayers wore recited and the ooflin was lowered into the grave. The grave-diggers had begiin to fill it in witli clay, wheu tliey henrd several kuoeks given from within the coflin. Terrified, they rau to cali the curato, and informud the Mayor, in the presence of botli of whioh personages the coflin was oponed. Tho unfortuuate youth, who luul been buried alive while in a stato of lethnrgy, had made desperate efforts to break open the lid of the cofBn, but oselessly, and had died of asphyxia.
