The neighbor, to lier surprise, saw in a eoil a large snake oí the blue racer variety- the cat seeimng]y having it under its control, and faseinated. The reptile, on seeing the lady, van thnmgh the fenee and out of sight, lut was dtfi-ward seen by Mrs. Mann, who watdied its mnneuvers. The cat finally succoeded in bringing its prey to the door.
