A Fourth Of July Picnic
Editob of Aboto9 Oq tho Fourth of July some of the farmers living near Ann Arbor attended a picnic at Baae Lake, gotteu up to celébrate " Independence Day." There was a large crowd present, raany being frora Iludson and Dover and the adjoining country. Dur ing the day the young folks amuaed themselves in playing varioua gamee, boat-riding &c, while the older ones lepoaed under the trees. The dinner was splendid, the bill of fare including cakes, piea, ice-cream, strawberries, lemonade, and everything the hungry man or the epicure could wish for. At a late hour the party separated and the members went their several homeward ways, all feeling well pleased with the day's enjoyment.
