A motion to reduce all salaries over {1,500 ten per cent was lost. - Judge Oooley, dean of the Law Faculty has filed a vigorous protest against the increase of the fees of law studente - -the dopartment being self-supporting - in order to meet the increased expenses of the Medical Department. It has seemed to us that the Medical Department was getting the big end of the loaf, and that a saving might be made in that department by discontinuing the separate course of lectures to ladies.
