At a public meeting held at the Opera House in the village of Albion, on the 2d inst., by the Albion Reform Club and the Womau's Christian Temperance Uuion, the following re8olutions were unaimnouïly adopted : Whebeas, An excursión party under the auspices of the Albion Reform Club, composed principally of members ot that orgauization and their families, and numbering upward of 700 persons, did, on the 30th of August, 1877, visit Aun Arbor, and were met upon the arrival of the train, by oflïcers and members of the Reform Club of that city, who took charge of the transportaron of our lunch baskets and escorted us to their Club Rooms, where tables were spread and hot tea and cotïee served by ladies of the Temperance Union ; and, in addition, the free use of their club rooms was tendered for the eutire afternoon, iucluding refreshments, music, etc , and every favor au.l attentiou was shown us : Therefore be it Resolved, That both the Reform Club of the village of Albion, and the Woman's Temperance Uuion, do hereby unite in acknowledging, with a sense of lively appreciation, the welcoine recoption accorded us by the Reform club aud Womuu's Christian Temperance Union of Ann Arbor, and do hereby tender our heartfelt thanks, not only for the deeds of kindness that contributed so largely to our pleasure and gratification, but also for the generóos and fraternal spirit that prompted them, aud we assure our earnest co-workers that this mauitestation of their good will and sympathy with us in our common cause against a common foe, will long be remembered. Resolved, That it is our hearts' desire and prayer that God may prosper our brothers and sisters in their noble work, giving tbem streugth and rictory; and that we hope at some future time it may be our priïilege to reciprócate their kindness. Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be lorwarded to both the Reform Club and the Woman's Christian Temperance Uuion of Ann Arbor, and aio to each of the local papers of that city, and to the Red and White Ribbon of Detroit, for publication. The Markets.- The following were the prices paid for produce by our local dealers yesterday afteruoon : For Wheat, $1.25al.3O lor Corn, 30c; for Oats, 2c; for Hay, 8alü; for Potatoes, 35c; for Buttor, 18o ; for Lard, 10a'; for Eggs, 12c ; for Houey, 20c ; for Cabbage, per dozen, 48c; for Peaches, f2.50. Flour retails at $3.50 per hundred.
