It was his flrst ride on the "kers," and, as the conductor reached in his hip pocket for his punch, the sharp eye of Texas caught a glimpse of its polished handle, and, quick as thought, he leveled a heavy six on that conductor, saying, "Put 'er up, or 111 blow daylight throngh you.
