Dr. Taylor was called, and by strenuous efforts the unfortunate man was aroused sufficiently to teil that he had taken a quarter of an ounce of opinm. He soon relapsed into a state of stupor, and at the present wnting, Tuesday evening, it is very doubt' ful whether he will recover.
