MRS. MARY WHEELER LILLEY.

January 25, 1878. We must not say she's dead, - but baskim? In that otber life so fair, Where sweetest bliss coiaes without aaking To those who enter there. Tiiat life elysian, where uever Any sin can entrauce gain, Where, the idol of Hia saints, Corever The loving Chrlst doth reign. We must not say ihe's dead,- bul rest ing After toil end care on earth; That God is now her life investing With the peace of the New BIrth. Oh, who would cali her back from lleaven Once more to duty hen ? Batfaer rejoice, to her is given That rest ao glad, so dear. We must not say she's dead, - she only Has reached the "Bye and Bye," And hearts must not feel sad and lonely, And for her weep and and sigh ! They, who to nobler joys aspire, Through hope and faith may seo That she has only gone up higher To sweet Iininortality. Ann Aebor, March 2, 1878. G. N. L.
