Sheriff's Office, Washtenaw Countv, Ank Anuon, Mich., Feb. 20, 1878. i To the Electora of Washte.ruiw County; ïou are hereby notilied tbat at the election to be held o the tirst Alonday of April next, the followIng Amendments to the Constitution of this State are to be submitted to the people of the State for their aduption ur rejection, viz : Au Ameudment to Sectiou 12 of Article 6, reiative to the appointmerit of Clerk of the Supreme Court, as provided by Joint Kesolution No. :iü, Laws of 1877. Haid section now reads as follows: "Süction 12. The Clerk of each County organi.ed for judicial purposes, shall be the Clerk of the Circuit Court of such County, and of the Supreme Court when held within the same." If the proposed Ainendinent be adopted, said sectiun will rcad as follows : "Section 12. The Justices of the Supreine Court shall appoint the Clerk of said Court, and the Clerk of euch County orgauized for judicial surposes, shall be the Clerk of the Circuit Court for such County. Aiso an Amendinent to Section 7 of Article 15, relative to eorporations, as provided by Joint Rasolution No. oJ, Laws of 1877. Said Óeetiun now reads as follows: "Skction 7. The stoekeolders of all corporations and joint stock assoeiations, shall be individually Hable for all labor perfornied for such corporatiou or associtttion." H the proposed Ainendnient be adoptod, eaid Section will read as follows: "Skction7. The stockholders in all corporations and joint stock assoeiations shall be individually liable in au amount equal to the par value of their respective shares whieh they own or have owued in such corporations or assoeiations for all labor done in behalf rf such Corporation or joiut stock association during the time of their beiug such stoekholders." Hilas H Douglus, adniinistrator of said estáte, comes into eourt and representa that he ia now prepared to runder hxs iiual account as such adininistrator.
