York. of Detroit ; and the reports of the delegates trom the several localities. Tuesday evening aii uldress was give by Mrs. M. T. Latlirop, of Jack8on. Wodnesday foreuoou the " Question Drawer " and a Bíble Service, by Mrs. Kimmel, of Sliaion, were the tvvo exercises, and the latter is said to have been specially interesttng. Wednesday afternoou, au essay by Mrs. Barnabee, ot this city, was read by Miss Thompson, the miscellaneous business transacted, and oflicer8 elected tor the year as as follows '. I'resident, Mrs. Win. Benson, of Adrián. Recording Seeretary, Mrs. Milo Row, ot Deertield. Correspondiug Secretarles, Mrs. Blinii, oi DeerSeld, and Mis. T. Taylor, of Ann Arbor. Wednesday eveniiig essays were read by Mrs. D. Shier, ot Chelsea, and Miss Mattie E. Arnold of Detroit, and an address given by Mrs. Ij. 0. York, of Dentón. The noxt meeting of the Society is to be held at Clayton, Lenawee Couuty.
