At Bay City, April 11, the immense lumber pilos of Eddy, Avery & Co., and their fiue docks were tutu! ly destroyed ; also the uortli mi H, planing-mill, tind doek of H. M. Brudley, and about 4,000.000 feet of luinber. Among the loases of Eddy, Avory & Co. were 6,000,000 feet of pine and 7,000 barrels of aalt. Besides this about 30 buildings were burncd, aiooug thuni the Universaliat uhurch, the fine residence of Albert Miller, and thoae of Williaru Stantou and F. A. Buucroft. Loss, #200,000, with only about $50,000 insurauoe. Eddy & Avery'slosa was f 110,000.- AtGranville, April 10, a barn owned by the Boylan Bros. with contenta : loss $3,000, iusurauce $1,300.- At Cadillac, April 10, se ven bui all stores and five dwellings; los $11,000. The wite of Dr. Blouut was burncd to death, aud the doctor, in tiying to save her, so badly burned thnt be has since died. The bones of some one unknown have also been found in the ruins. - At Calumet, April 7, a fire in the O8ceola mine caused a losa of $15,000, insumnce $8,000.
