- The ojgau and vocal concert at the Con_ gregational Church will be held uext Mouday evemng, June 24, iustead of ou Saturday evetung as iormerly annouuced. Profs. Frieze, Morris, and (iilchrist wlil preside at the orgau. The vocal music wilt be rendered by aouie oí the _best musical talent in the city, and will 'onsist of solos, duetí, quartets, and choruses. It is hoped that Mr. Wm. H. Murphy, ot Detroit, t-o favorably known to onr citizens, will ülso assist at the concert. Admittance üO cents, cluldren 2ö cents Proceeds to go to the organ 'uud. Concert to begin at 8 o'clock. Relreshraents, consisting of ice cruam, strawberries, Itmouade, Sec, will be for sale in the basement ■oth betore and after the concert. - Rev. J. H. Allen will preach in the Uni'anan Church next Sunday, June 23, from hich date the church will be closed until September. Subject uf eveniug discourse, I " Witness to the Truth." Hev. Mr. Hosmer, now traveling in Europe, will probably supply the church next fall aud winter. - The lawn party given by the ladies of the Episcopal Church on Wednesday evenlng, ou the grounds oï C. H. Millen, Esq., was a pleasant affair, and may be chronicled as a auccess in every respect. - At the Catholic Ghurch in ISTorthh'eld, Sunday, June 30, at 4 o'clock p. m., Rev. Father Van Erp, 01 tliis city, will give his leoture on Rome, for the beuefit of St. Patrick's ïemperance Wociety. - Children's day, with appropriate services, will be observed at the Prosbyterian Clniroh on Sunday neit.
