RYDER- In this city, on the lOth lust., Mary Elizabeth, wife oí" Rev. William H. Ryder, and daughter of Mr. amt Mrs. Albert Bushnell, of Oberlin, Ohio, in the 34th year of ber age. Her remains we re taken to Oberlin for interment. In the death of Mrs. Ryder the Congregational Church and society and a large circle of friends have sustained a heavy affiiction. Though domestic cares and sicknesa have compelled her to lead a secluded life during almost the whole period oi' lier residenee here, she had made a deep irapreasion upon all who had formed her acquaintance. Her tíne natural gifts had been carefully cultivated by a geoerouü training in Oberlin College. Her character was marked by a most winning cheerfulness, a conscientious earnestness and simple, sincere and unaffected piety. The trials of her painful sickness, even the great trial of leaving her live children, she bore with a fortitude which was a triumph of Chriatiao t'aith and resignation. Her meraory wtll ever be precious to thoae who had the happiness of knowing her.
