- The dances aro getting numerous in this part of the county, finishing up the season. - The firm of Bross, Crampton & Miller which was on the ragged edge last week, is changed to Crampton & Miller, they buying their old partner out. - Can't Ann Arbor students find enough to keep thern busy at homo without going arouud the country sticking their nosea into other pooples' business? - Dan Morris Sullivan and his troupe gavn us a visit on Friday and Saturday last, and drew two good housea. They did so well hero as to lea ve tho to wn hoping for their speody roturn. - Tho Band Concert onTuesday evoningwasa grand succes, and shows the hard woik that the boys have boon at for the past five weeks. Prof. Lowis Hoffrnan in his cornet solo took the house by storm. The duetts and quartettes by the members of tho band were splendid and tho full bivnd was hard to beat. - Tho singing was well enjoyed by all, and Miss Magoilin's piano solo was listened to with great interest. But the vocal and instrumental pieces of Miss Maudie Williams, alittlegirl of 8 years, took the audienco entirely by surprise Sho is cortainly a wonderful musician, makes up her own pieces, for she can't read a note, and keepa perfect time through it all. On account of the bad weather the people of the country around could'nt get out, so tho concert will be repeated soon. Pica.
