At first it was supposed that his wound was not serious, but reeontly it hasbecome more aggravated.and erysipelas having set in, he is entirely blind and evidently in a very precarious condition. - Suit has been commenced in the Circuit Court against E. T. Wilson, Alf, Pointer and Fred. Burkdolf, saloon keepers of Hillsdale, and their bondsmen, for selling liquor to George Sutton, who was frozen to death in February, whilo intoxicated. Ile was sontenced for one year on the 2Oth of June last, and only had three months more to serve: A Mrs. King, with whom ho is alleged to have conspired to defraud the government, left her boudsmen in the lurch and has never been brought to trial.
