Stony Creek, June 16. - C. S. Wells is ereeting a new barn. -The Froe Methodists are holding a week's camp-nieeting near Watz SfcaI tion. -John Markham has contracted to carry the mail from Paint Creek to Maybee. - Mrs. John Bunton has returned home ftom New York, where she ha been to visit her sick mother. -The Paint Creek Reform Club meetings are novv held on Saturday evenings instead of Friday evenings, at the Morgan school -house. James Hewens, Prosident. - A daughter of ffm. McEwen of Sunipter died very suddenly last vreek. She returned home from school, complained of feeling sick, and died within half an hour. - William Webster has again taken possession of his store at Paint Creek.- He has improved its appearance by painting it, building a veranda on the soutli and west sides and partially enclosing it with a picket fenee.
