MooaEViLLE, Juno 30. - G Josenhans and wife - a daughter. - Mrs. Geo. Winters haa been Laving chills. - J. Josenhans has his house reshingled. - Quarterly meeting here next Saturday and Sunday. - 2,000 eels have been reoeutly placed in the inill pond near Saline. - Miss Emma Parsons of LeRoy, N. Y., is the guest of Mrs. Lake. - Mrs. McDaniels has been dangerously ill, but is getting bettor. - The laying of the brick of the Universalist church has comnienced. - The wool erop is nearly all disposed of at prices ranging from 30 to 34 cents per pound. - Crops of all kinds look remarkably well in this section. Wheat harvest is close at hand. - Some miserable scanip stole a new single harness from tha barn of O. Case last Tbursday night. - Wm, Orr, who had the misfortune to have a leg broken about three months ago, is just beginning to get about on crutches. - The hotel here has changed hands again. The preseut owner is Gilbert Brown, a former resident of this place. J. Warner goes to Saline. The people here regret the change as it is undurstood thut Mr. B. intends taking out a licenso, and will soon be in readiness to rteal out that whioh intosioatea, to his neighbors, legally. Milán, June 30. - Mr. Jennings, son-in-law of Eli Kinier, haa moved from New York state to Saline. - Little boys of Milan vs. Little boys of Mooreville at base ball. Score - 17 for former ; 13 for latter. - A petition has been presented to the road commissionerg to establi.sh the limita of the road passing through this village. - Six ravenons wool buyers are each striving for a share of the wool trade at this place. One would surruise that a good share of it would be "pulled wool." - A smiill sum of money was stolen from the rnoney drawer of Braman & Co.'s maat market on the 21st, while the proprietors were temporarily absent from the shop. - Oue of the engines on the T. & A. V. 1'. It. was fired into by some person ar persons one evening lately, near Samaría. Fivo head of cattle were killed near the spot a short time before, and it is supposed the tiring was done in revenge for the killing of the cattle. Mooheville, July 1. - Mr. and Mrs. D. Forsyth - a daughter. - Mr. E. Conde is suffering from erysipelas breaking in his houd. - Miss Lottie Forsyth of N. Y. is visiting friendsin this vicinity. - The wheat in this vicinity has inostly been blown flat to the ground. -The Red Eibbon Reform Club of this place have ailjoumod their regular business meetings until the hot er is over.
