_Mrs. Fred Schmid and Mr. Unas. Mann are visiting their brother in Detroit and attending state fair. - After a lengthy visit in this city Mrs. A. J. Shively and daughter örace, returned to N. Y. city on Tuesday. G. S. l'itkin goes to Detroit to-day to see ïf the state fair is such a big thing as the presa of that city pretend. Ex-Gov. Felch and daughter returned from Kansas last week. H. W. Butts of this city joins the Orchard Lake Military Academy faculty as inatheniatical instructor. Theodore Huss, late in the employ of hardware dealer J. F. Schuh, has engagad as salesraan in an East Saginaw wholesale house. -A. L. Noble, looking to tho interest of his large Saline trade, has engaged the services of Mr. John Lindenschmitt of that place. Mr. L. has been, during the past year, with C. Parsons of the above village, and comes highly recommended as a very agreeable and successful salesman. _Mr. and Mrs. Millcn, H. W. Eogers and daughter Kizzie, Chas. H. liichinond, the gentlemen as delegates, and Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Pett, Mr. and Mrs. John N. Gott, Mrs. G. T. Clark, W. H. Butts, Mr. and Mrs. S. H.
