Albert Hornings To Mark Golden Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Horning will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at their home, 1377 Marlboro Dr., from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The couple was married in Lodi township at her parent's home on Nov. 24, 1904, in a double ceremony with her brother, the late Henry Jedele, and his wife. Mrs. Jedele, who lives on W. Liberty Rd., will be a guest at the open house.
The Hornings have lived in the Ann Arbor area all their lives. Mr. Horning is employed at the Hoover Ball and Bearing Co. Both he and his wife are members of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She is a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church, and he, of the Men's Club.
They have three children, Mrs. C. H. Millage of Stone School Rd. and Harold and Paul Horning, both of Flint, and four grandchildren.
