Bateman Services Saturday
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday from the Muehlig Chapel for William B. Bateman, of 1925 Cambridge, who died Wednesday. He was 69.
Bateman was formerly treasurer of the Washtenaw Asphalt Co. He was a member of the Golden Rule Lodge No. 159 F & AM, a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Detroit, the Moslem Shrine of Detroit, and he was past president of the Masonic Temple Board. He also belonged to the local Elks Lodge No. 325.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; a daughter, Mrs. Drew Paterson of Bloomfield Hills; two sons, William B. Jr. and D. Andrew, both of Ann Arbor; two brothers, a sister and one grandson. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit.
