BEAR MOUND: Bears will be given a rise of ground all to themselves in the proposed outdoor museum of the University of Michigan. These animals and others in the zoological garden connected with the museum will live in their natural environment, with no cages. They will be confined to their own areas by precipices and moats. The above picture is an artist's conception of the bear mound.
