CANDY COUNTER: Ann and Sandy Bulloch (left to right) find that the Christmas "count-down" calendars made by their mother help to ease some of the pre-Yule excitement that fills every little heart the week before Santa's arrival. The daughters of the James Bullochs, 291 Mason Ave., take a red or green Christmas sucker off the felt calendar each of the 12 days preceding Christmas. The calendar is gaily decorated with green and red numerals, trees, holly and leaves. The suckers, in the shape of Christmas trees, are tied to the calendar with bright wrapping ribbon.
