Santa and the Firehouse: Persons passing the Fire Department's west side station on Jackson Ave. get this view of the coming holiday as expressed by the men at the substation. The chimney in the foreground conceals lights which shine on the sleigh and reindeer at night. The display was made by firemen assigned to the station.

Even pre-schoolers will get into the act when Creative Arts I and II groups of the American Association of University Women presents their Christmas Idea Fair from 8 to 10 p.m. today at the American Red Cross Building, 2729 Packard. A special feature will be holiday decorations with instructions designed for young children. Immersed in a macaroni Christmas tree project are 'Tricia and Jamie McNaughton, children of Mr. and Mrs. James McNaughton of Dalton Drive, and Andrew Hartzell (center), son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hartzell of Creal Crescent. All AAUW members may attend the fair.
